Had an interesting weekend. I went to a showing of some one-act plays Friday evening - one of them directed by a friend of mine. Unfortunately, they were really, really painfully bad. Even the one my friend was involved in (and her stuff is usually very good). I was a theater major my first time around in college, so I have some idea of how difficult it is to write/direct/perform in live theater. Therefore I try not to be critical (which, trust me, goes against my true nature) whenever someone else attempts to do any of the above. But man! This was the kind of bad where you're embarrassed for everyone else in the room. Wow.

But then I went to see Fishbone at Subterranean on Saturday night, which made everything ok again. Love that band.

Aside from these minor adventures, I've just been day-dreaming about burning man and concocting hundreds of ideas for things to make and bring along. Then I'm rudely awakened by the fact that I leave in 2 weeks and haven't done a got-damn thing.

Yikes.
