I guess I should explain, as I've become one of those people who takes for granted the existence of cable television in the lives of others. I went at least four years once without any television at all. I wasn't any more productive, but I'm pretty sure I had a lot more fun.
Anyway, Harvey Birdman is an animated show on Cartoon Network. The character of Harvey Birdman is actually lifted from a kids' show in the sixties named "Birdman". Only the new show has him as an attorney (still wearing the bird man costume under his three-piece suit) defending the likes of Scooby and Shaggy from possession charges. Trust me...it's a lot funnier than I'm making it sound.
Other than sitting drooling in front of my tv, I'm mostly occupied with planning for my trip to Burning Man (three more weeks!). This is my first trip and I'm hella excited. If anyone's been there before and can offer any sage advice (yes, I've checked out the BurningMan group for stuff as well) - it would be much appreciated.
By the way, PhantomVI, I know we don't really know each other - but I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother.

The longest I've done without TV was a year...still don't watch that much since all my favorite shows have been cancelled...and at least I know enough now to hit the mute button when commercials come on....
Then again, I probably make up for it by having a huge DVD collection to watch instead....
About the burnging man, are you gonna have a freak theme?
