sooo...i started cosmetology school today. we started on "shears control", where you stand in the cutting position and hold your shears out in front of you and cut the air over and over, the proper, controlled way...for over an hour. it hurts so bad. my right hand and shoulder are all sore...bleh. BUT!

i did get my mannequin heads (two brunette and a blonde), a new hair dryer, hair curler, spray bottle, clippings cape, and text books. aparently, i had just missed makeup application BUT!!

tomorrow i get to learn how to wash hair, part dry and wet hair, and look at the little head. wednesday is wet haircuts. HUZZAH!!!


ALSO: i think i may have seen nimby at the safeway near my house. idk though. i must investigate further...

ALSO (again): for those who have been wondering, my shoot with taye went fabulous and i really think it has a great chance to be accepted!!! keep your fingers crossed!
