Yeah yeah yeah I know......
Word of the day: vicarious
ZEN FOR THOSE WHO TAKE LIFE TOO SERIOUSLY: HE WHO LAUGHS LAST THINKS SLOWEST.
Sooo what do we talk about today? Chris and I are settled in our new house for the most part. We still have a bunch of stuff to unpack which I should probably be doing right now so SHHHH.
The recital went off without a hitch - my little kids were so awesome! I almost had a wardrobe malfunction where I was losing my pants but realized it before it was too late. I've been on vacation for the past week and a half and it's been GLORIOUS! I spent all day Sunday relaxing by the pool. The only thing that sucks is that I'm not making any money and it's a bit tough having to pay rent. Anyone have any extra cash laying around?
On a similar note I got a call from my old boss up in Hartford and got offered a job teaching in the COLLEGE PROGRAM at my Alma Mater. I'm not sure if I should be excited about it yet but at least I'll have some extra money in my pocket.
I got some good news that my monster-in-law is moving to Florida this weekend AND taking Chris's annoying little brother with her! *SIGH OF RELIEF* But of course with the sweet comes the sour and it's only sour cuz I have a huge soft spot. She can't take her cat Angelina with her and I've been SO stressed about that as Cathy asked me to help find a home for Angelina. I haven't been able to and Chris and I can't take her as she'd hafta stay locked up in our bedroom cuz we have 2 dogs downstairs that prolly wouldn't take to her well. She's the sweetest cat in the world and she doesn't deserve to be put in a shelter. I've actually cried thinking about it. Anyone want a cat?
Well if this entry isn't a novel already I'm gonna stop before it becomes one. Stay tuned. Cellar door.
