STATEMENT:
Envelope yourself in the essence of the seasons as your eye seeks out frequencies correlated to spring's effervescence. That aether now mutated onward and outward by the sun, a fiery beacon in the black. We set forward, prostrated to burn as the sun makes it's way across our brow. The auditory exchange is the vessel to re-connect as time shifts the relationships between the stars. Come fill your ears with waves of sonic pyre. Soon enough they will be of liquid, filling our lungs into sleep and slumber.
UNDERSTANDING:
This sound series, cultivated by the sensations of spring, will continue an ongoing process, a transformation of
its form and style throughout the seasons. As one can imagine, the crispness of the spring air has influenced a
bright and mesmerizing atmosphere, hungry for growth and stimulation. Performance will offer the ideal space
for both performer and observer to indulge in the metamorphosis as a freely evolving experience, enabling the
listener to take part in what has been a natural process for Synchronicity Frequency's music.
"I often find the compositions I write resistant to stagnation, by my own dissatisfaction with redundancy I
often 'sabotage' my recordings and performances by manipulating and transforming their character and texture
the more I play and perform them." -RO
Expect this sound series to unfold into the burning sun and then the darkness of fall and winter. It will only get
heavier, noisier and darker as the seasons affect the frequencies.
RELEASE:
Rather than keeping this process a matter of private studio session or undocumented live material, SF will
release several newly transformed versions of the original 'Motions Through Ambience'. The first version of
release, V1.0, was released at the end of spring. Throughout the year witness "Motions Through Ambience"
live at various locations. There you will experience the current affects of the season on the set and observe the
new form it will be taking. At the end of each season, acquire the latest recording and transformation. Summer,
Fall and Winter will work in the same fashion until the full cycle has met its node.
