so i've already lost my upass. It activates today, and do i know where it is?

of course not. I went with tina to get it a few days ago...but i don't remember much beyond that. So i'll either have to cough up 25$ to get a new one, or hope that it turns up in the wash somewhere..i have a lot of laundry. currently it's suspended in my closet in a drycleaning bag that's not going to last much longer. I'll probably do it when i get home, after i call nellie mae and the gas company, to ask for more money, and then to beg to not let our gas get shut off.

I've mostly moved into my new apartment and my futon doesn't totally suck. But people like to run and jump on it. why is beyond me, it's eventually going to snap shut on someone, and i'm sure it won't happen again after that.
My bank acount isn't totally depleted.
My TV is in the fireplace. And I like it there.
I'm getting an Xbox And controllers for 20$ (thanks tina!)
I have a fire red peanut shaped desk from Ikea. It's fun.
We have donuts in the apartment.
I had too much sushi last night. It was good, in that i'm-going-to-die way. (..Damn sushi nazis. If you dont' eat everything on your plate, you have to pay an extra 5$). Pretty tasty springtime rolls, after you poke out the pepper stuff.
i bought a new bowl. it has a ladybug on it
My journalling class should be...nice. I hope. Pray.

My place has chandeliers and stained glass. And bars on all the windows. but it's in a nice neighborhood.

Not so good things that have happened in the last few days...
I can't figure out where the extra 2 screws go in my futon. I'm sure this will end in tears and squishedness.
I can't sleep. Even WITH (10 mg)ambien. It's probably because i'm not running hills and walking to work every day and now my body is no longer exhausted at the end of the day. Looking for a gym to get rid of lovehandles and sleeplessness.
Some people...are dirty. Like the people that lived in my apt before me. We found gay porn on a mini disk in the cupboard, catfood and litter under the fridge, mystery sludge that could have been molasses, bbq sauce, blood, or all three under the veggie drawers, growing green crystals in the cabinet over the stove, filth on the fans and tops of cabinets, dust everywhere...and the bathroom was fun. Really. I love scrubbing a floor that's grey and making it white. eeugh. at least it's prettier now.
our sink is missing enamel but the landlord doesn't want to replace it because the building is "historic". Right. Like that sink's from 1900. Bullllllshiiiiit.
It takes a good 45 minutes to commute to school from Logan Square. Why? Fucked if i know.
I still have books, storage, art supplies, and food to buy.
I'm conflicted about dating. there are opportunities, but do i really want to start that all over again? One person in particular is going the exact route travis and i went. I don't know if i'm hot on repeating that right now. i like being...single. and available.
I might have to get a job.

things are ok. things are good. I have a house, food, bathe-ability, and love. Or at least a lot of like. Will survive whatever hardships come this way.

My sleep pill is generic versions of Unisom. I don't take a whole one, though. I found cough syrups with the same ingredient would relax me relatively well, while taking a generic Unisom would make me too tired the next day. I then looked at the dosage and realized the pill had 3 times the amount of the cough syrup, so I'd break the pills into thirds-ish parts.
I just looked; the active ingredient is called "doxylamine succinate."
