Cool.

How do I experience being cool?

Self-esteem is cool- I am good at what I do.
Feeling unique and special is cool.
Feeling that I am in control of myself is cool.
Feeling apart from others and aware of things that they are not. Very cool.
Having style and tastes that set me apart. I am not you- I am me.
Being extremely smart. What can I say?
Having a vast knowledge of the world is cool. I see something, hear something, and I know about it.
Cool has an underlying current of eroticism.
Being cool, I am only appreciated by the select few.
I always feel as if I am the protagonist in a book or movie.
I am not afraid to look at the truth. No, it's more than that, I actually want to know the truth- I seek it out! More than anything, that sets a person apart.
I imagine that others think I am different, interesting, strange, and eccentric. They do and I am.
Waiting for the portal of opportunity to open. Knowing that it will open, sooner or later, and I don't need to rush it.

I alternate between disdain, compassion and amusement toward my fellow humans.

Coolness has always been my main defense.

Aha, I see you only tricked us into thinking your were leaving the site to write your book. I see that it has sucked you back to make one more post - a post that I enjoyed reading. The description of your novel was also very interesting; I wish I could make some time to sit down and write a book, but, alas, not now.
