Happy New Year everyone!
Started my new job on tuesday. I'm no longer a body shop employee (woot). Doing really well with the waitressing part. Burnt the crap out of my hand though. Fucking soup is HOT!!! It blistered up and generally looks puketastic.
Oh and it hurts like a motherfucker too. lol
But all in a days work I guess and its way better than the body shop. I really like the girls I work with. But damn if my feet dont hurt. Worked a 9 hour shift today because of the Rose Bowl.
Tired. And my finger hurts. And since I'm training, I didnt get any of the tips I earned After saturday I should be on my own though, which means $$$ 
Looked at a NICE townhome apartment for me and Case today. Really excited about that prospect. Cause our current apartment sucks. Dishwasher is worthless. Ceiling fucking leaks. Managment are assholes. Parking is terrible, oh and they're doing their very best to upgrade the outside of the apartments and make them look like HELL!
Yeah fuck this place. I like the actual apartment alot, but the people that run the place are just jerks.
Case is good. We hit a year of "official" dating on New Years Eve. woot, go us. How's everyone been. Sorry I've been a shitty friend. Been busy and I was sick for about a week. Dont hate me, I'll do better soon.

I eventually got to where I am now by doing that, even when I went to art school I never ever went to my painting class. I thought it was utter bullshit.
This lady who wasn't even talented was our teacher. And each project we had was to try to imitate past artists. I was so NOT into that. Every single project she haded out I handed in whatever the fuck I felt like. I don't think I did one project according to the guidelines.
Oils are a bit different than what I paint with though.Like you have to mix them more, add that oil stuff and defidently gesso your canvases before you start. I've never really worked with them much because I don't have the patience to let them keep drying. I use liquid acrylic for the most part and it dries almost instantly.
Moral of this big long comment....PLAY, have fun, use differnet brushes, put your fingers in it and your toes it in squish it around. You'll find happy mistakes and know the extent of your medium.
