Got to love how random life can be...
For those of you who don't yet know. I got a new job!! Started in March. I work for a print shop as the CTO. Long story short it's a 4mil a year company owned by my good friend. Strong stable company, but 100% corporate work, no retail market. My job is to help them get into the 21st century, improve efficiency, help build a direct to consumer website(like cafepress, zazzle, etc) then build the brand and market it.
Now this is where things get random. If you who know me, you know I'm always into something on the side.. this time I'm helping out with some behind the seines stuff for Taye's next Suicide SF Party.
Taye and I met with Live105 last Thursday to talk about a radio buy for the event. While discussing this event, it turned out Live105 had a goal to meet for their booths at BFD (then about a week away, it's this Saturday).. and if we could get a booth, they would hookup the radio buy phat..
Sounded like a great deal.. but then we needed to find a sponsor for the booth, figure out something to sell, put the booth together, and pull everything off in just over a week.. with no $. Of course this sends us into a craze of "who, what, how, when?"..
Then the answer hits me like a brick. I should be the sponsor! Well the retail business division of the company I'm work for to be exact.... EasyBizPrinting.com. Our goal is to help people make money using what we can produce for them... Only problem is we were not planning to launch for at least another 2-3months.
