Took my two year old neice to a street party to raise money for the community. It was wonderful...great music and great food (you can't beat hot dog vendors). We both got ribbon crowns, face painting, and prizes for dancing. I swear this was for her enjoyment not mine. 
The AIDS march here is coming up on Sat. I have had a hard time finding people willing to pledge (what is with that), but am still excited. My team has raised a good amount and it should be a fun walk (t-shirts and all).
The great news this week is that I was asked to fill a position in at my womens center for a day. A woman comes in to teach Yoga to the women there (body work helps them with their healing process) but it can be very triggering...so they always have a councillor on standby ready to take anyone aside and help them through memories or panic attacks, or just ground them in general. The councillor who normally does it can't make it next week so I was asked to fill in. Yay! I am super psyched about it, and can't wait to work with these women. I love getting to try new things in this field.
