Hmn....Tonight was interesting. Got a few powerplays (finally). Woulda been 5....but two people who I had told about it and SHOULD have made sales on the new guy got cause he thought I needed help with the line (I didn't) but anyways....I was talking to one of my regulars who I tend to wander the store looking for good picks with brought up college and whether or not I was in attendance of one....why not....what I want to do...and I mentioned I was thinking about going to the motorcycle school out in phoenix....he mentioned how he's thinking about moving out there to do HVAC school...and then said how he thought about donating his motorcycle to the school I was talkin about....it's an older honda blackhawk or something he said....he mentioned how they don't make em like they used to and how I should pursue it if thats what I want....I dunno it really got me thinkin....
Anyways...this happens to be a customer who's promised me coldstone cause I always take care of him
Help him out, hold movies for him, etc. When his P.P. expires he renews with me so I get the credit for it on my account and stuff....Really nice fella...his G.F.'s daughter is always givin me a hard time......
Reminded me why I love my job as much as I do....cuase I love the people..... Unfortunately one of my new regulars....a guy who Kit and I signed up and got on a P.P. is going through a rough patch with his roomate....he thinks the roomate is using Heroin again cause he and his brother found the makings of use in the living room....they cleaned it up and threw it out....but my regular is in NA...trying to get clean....and stay cleaen....so he's having a really hard time. The electric got shut off today cause the roomate didnt pay it...so my regular had to use his testing money (money he had for the drug test tomorrow) on it....and he's really worried.... I hate it when I hear about shit like that happening to good people who are trying to change their lives for the better....When he left I gave him a big hug and told him to be strong...and if all else failed to come talk to me...and I would help however I could....
I dunno...just....hate to think I'd lose the best part of my job for not making enough sales....New guy was asked if given the chance he'd like to move up in the company, he graciously said yes....so we are thinkin he might hit Asst. Manager soon....something Stoner would be pissed about....but New guy says I have nothing to fear...cause if he has any say in whether I am let go or not, he wants to see me stick around...says after working with me a couple times he thinks losing me might hurt the store more than anything cause of how I am with my customers
