So according to SRP I have doubled my kwh usage in the last month....nice...thank God I can afford the bill....or else it'd be no a/c

If you think that's wrong there's a review service you can call and they'll check to make sure there's not a mistake. They'll even send someone out to assess your power usage to see if their measurements are accurate.
