I just got home from my first 39 hour shift at work. It didn't even feel that long...it partially helps that I get to sleep overnight.
I love this job, 7am Saturday until 10pm Sunday is a long time, and I missed my wife terribly, but I love the people there, and the residents are just great. I'm so glad I got this opportunity, and although it sucks that I lost my weekend, I have all week off so that's not too bad of a trade up.
Now it's off to sleep....sweet sweet sleep.

I work at a home for mentally disabled adults. Staff throughout the week have regular schedules, but this is the only way for weekend staff to be able to get full time.
