So... La dee da.. Going along cleaning my basement... As I pass by the box of stone tumbling equipment my grandma gave me I notice a piece and it suddenly dawned on me what it's for. It's a miniature tumbling drum which is exactly what I need to tumble jewelry in steel shot. I pull it out of the box... It's kinda heavy.... I unscrew the bolt, Pry open the rubber seal that hasn't been opened for nigh on 50 years at least... Liquid.... Blackness... With chunky-bits.
Wow.. my grandma hasn't used this equipment in who knows how long and the last time she did, She didn't clean out the drums! Yummy. This water smells like old...So I improvised a strainer out of a foil baking pan and some old window screen. Punched some holes in it with me Lee Enfield bayonet so the water will empty out well below the screen and still let the grit sink to the bottom of the pan.
Wow there were some nice stones in there... I'm not sure what all of it is, but it's nice.. Amethyst, probably quartze, I think there's citrine ( I say because it's yellow) Agate, some sort of dark smokey but still slightly translucent stone. I'm gonna cut em down and make cabuchons for sure...
It's made for an interesting night.

So I made off with the Sin City displayer from work. I would have prefered Mickey Rourke's character, but I don't wish Bruce Willis and specific harm so I don't mind getting him. He'll look cool in my room. Gonna rearange some wall shelves so I have a place to squeeze him in. Legolas and Indy have sort of fallen down. I need to tack them up properly. I still have the Matrix Revolutions battle suit arms and legs which I want to attach to my bar fridge which at the moment has Puss in boots on the side and a huge return of the king sticker on the front... I love working in the movie department. So much useless, space wasting crap I get to take home.

So I think I'm gonna have another party... On the 3rd I think. Hopefully I'll catch some people before they go back to school.
Hope there's not too much drama with the ones who broke up/are jelouse of current couples/Gaaah..... If they're the only ones who can come I'm putting it off until later.
One of the girls whom I wanted to come... A peppy young lesbien friend of mine... One of her Lord of the rings muric videos was chosen to be screened at the Fellowship Festival in London. So she's off in a few days and won't be back until the 5th or so. She's fun to have at parties.

Going into Ottawa in the morning of the 3rd to take sissty to the airport, visit with Brandon and get me sword from him. Might try to knock him out and throw him in the trunk so he can come to the party.... Mebby have a bit of fun while he's out.... Mmmm Brandon...

So I'm off to CNE on the weekend.. Mucho fun I hope. Some more friends of mine are comming so yay...
