Well it's been a while.
Holiday went nicely. Got a couple more pictures of me and this dog I can post. Had a pretty good new years, met a really hot girl who seemed quite obsessed with my lips. But I suspect she was really really drunk because she has not made any effort to reply to my messages.
We had a new years day recovery party where we played Zombies!
I signed out a D50 from work so I'm getting my Photograhpher on, now if only I could find some wannabe suicidegirls.
On the 2nd we went camping. We got our wish of snow, but it was really deep and it got really cold.
We thought we had become whimps, but the next day my sister hiked in to visit us (Too sick to stay out but wanted to see how we were making out and eat MREs with us.) She told us it was -30 that night.
The second night was so much easier.
I'll see about posting some pictures, though I know I'm lazy about that.
The Nikon crew went camping in the Adirondacks on that weekend, but that was when my mom was comming back for the holidays, so I didn't make this trip. There might be another soon.
We're moving out of the apartment at the end of February.
I know I seemed pretty peeved at my room mate in my last entry, but that's not really the reason why.
We were both going to move in with another friend if he got the house he wanted, but ended up getting a smaller one so roomy's going to live there and I'm going back to my mom's for a couple months to clean my junk out of the house which I have neglected to do this entire year at the apartment. This way I won't have much of an excuse and it'll be right there.
I have so much more energy since I left the jewelry store.
Jewelery. Something I have not touched for too long. I want to make stuff. I'm getting my artistic mind back slowly and now that the holidays are over, it might be easier to focus.
I figure I'm going to be ready to go our west come June or July. One of my friends is going to see about getting me a job as a chef on a mining camp in Saskamasasquatchaluan.
I want to visit my sister for a bit, and hopefully hook up with that one girl in Calgary.
We'll see, anywhere but here. But in the mean time I need to get rid of a lot of crap.
Anyway. Work time. They've given us four extra hours a week now. Gonna be a long day.
