Guess I haven't updated for a while huh? Well trip to the Adirondacks got canceled last minute.
They're going to try again next month but now they want to stay in a cabin or some nonsense.
I don't know if I'm cool with that. Regardless, my sissy's back on the 16th and she wants to go camping as well as several other friends of mine. One of which is moving to England for a year in January, so we gotta get another trip in.
I think I'll enjoy a big group trip with my friends and family more than with the Nikon boys in a cabin. But I could potentially do both.
Today is the first day in a long time that I've called into work sick.
When I worked in the photolab I just didn't care, so I could do that sick. At the jewelry store, I could do most of that work one handed, being sick hardly slowed me down at all.
This job requires a bit more willpower and thought. The only thing I'd have accomplished if I went in today would be getting everybody else sick.
I feel like absolute shit and hope I'm well enough to work tomorrow. I'd much rather waste my money on stupid shit than not get it at all.
I spent most of the day playing Final Fantasy 9. I've been working on that game on and off for about three years.
Last Sunday I went down to the lapidary club to work on some of my projects. Wow their equipment sucks. They've invested all this money in the metal working stuff, but let the lapidary equipment fall into decay. I think the grinding wheel fractured my agate. We'll see. I think I can still use it.
But I have found my creativity and desire to work on jewelry is coming back to me, which is good, it just happened at the end of a day that I couldn't really get much done on.
I've been pretty freaking lonely. Comatose girl paged me the other day. I hadn't heard from her for weeks.
Been chatting with this cute army chick online too. Kind of hoping things go well with her.
But then, now that my creativity's coming back to me I might not need girls for a little while. So it'll at least take my mind off things if I don't hit it off with her.
I also need to buy some new clothes, something casual but presentable.
Willing to take suggestions.
Me gonna go clean my room a bit more, then mebby sleep.

I like dragonflies too! They're so beautiful. I'd love to draw one, but they never stay still long enough! I don't like it when they land on me, I'm a wuss when buggy things come near me.
If you had the opal mining job, you'd end up rich!! I like the hockey pads idea too. And on the subject of highway peoples, I found out the other day that when council highway workers get trained, they watch a really old video with Russell Crowe (the actor) in it, from the 80s.
