Yesterday seems to have been the worst day of this cold. I should be ok enough to work tomorrow.
Thanksgiving has been fun. Sissy came back for the weekend.
We took Widget in to get the matts shaved out of her fur on friday. I brought the cat carrier in from the garage and began to re-enforce it, as she has burst out of it before. She knew what was happening because the promptly ran into the back of my closet.
I managed to drag her out and imediatly she starts howling. I've only ever heard her do this after we've put her in the carrier until now.
Cramming her into it was another adventure. Then we put a bungee cord over the door incace she knocked it off the hinges again.
I was worried the whole day because she feels safer around me and I wasn't going to be able to go with her to the vet this time. Also scared mom wouldn't be able to handle her. Widget and I have a special bond.
I threw on my matrix coat and billowed out the door to catch my bus. I got to the stop at the mall and cut infront of this guy who was just kinda moseying along smoking a cigarrette. I didn't know if he was going to get onto the bus or not by the pace he was taking. I get on the bus and sit down. He comes onto the bus... But it wasn't a he. It was a she... A very androganous she.
She instantly reminded me of the really boyish lesbian from The 'L' Word... Yeah I've watched it... So what?...
Yes I was sitting in my underwear drinking beer. What's it to you?
Anyway. The whole bus ride over, I'm pretty sure she was looking at me. We both got off at the mall and I held the door for her.
Then I kept seeing her around the mall and every time I looked up that she was there. She was looking right back at me. I figure she works there somewhere so I think I might cast a friendly smile back and strike up some conversation if I see her again.
By biggest fear is that she's a lesbian and thinks I'm a girl. Because it's my guess that she was trying to look like a boy. Or at least very butch.... Mmmm... Butch...
So mebby I'll see her around tomorrow. I hope so. I don't think I'm gonna let her get away again without saying something to her. She was hot.
Today was the first lazy day I've had in a long time so I sat down and played Final Fantasy 9 for a while. Just got to the end of disk 2 a little while ago.
Now I'm listening to Oomph... I found a really kickass song of theirs yesterday. It was a hidden song on the track Im Licht, called Going Down. Really fucking awesome song. I downloaded an MP3 editor and clipped out the first song and the three minutes of silence between them so now i have it on a track of it's own. Might put it on my minidisk player tonight.
Also starting to like Bruce Dickinson's newest CD more than I had. The songs took a little while to grow on me but now I love most of em. Namely; Kill Devil Hill, Navigate The Seas Of The Sun and Devil On A Hog.
Me probably go sleepy soon. Rest up well for tomorrow.
