*long overdue update*
Thanksgiving was relaxing for the first time in years. April and I got to go to my parents on the holiday but not unitl 4:00. So, we got to spend the day watching the parade, and just taking it easy. And I got some, so it was just a great day in general
Saturday we went to her folks, as it was the only day her sister could make it. That was a bit more hectic, especially considering the lecture I received from her grandmother about how we "shouldn't be living in sin together" and how I needed to "do right by her and get married right away". And April's Dad is still somewhat cold to me. Sigh... oh well. Ape and I are having serious talks about future plans, but nothing definitive has been made yet. We are still wanting to take things relatively slow. And, shoot, both of us are really enjoying just being with each other so why screw this up too soon? After all, we have the rest of our lives to do that
School is well... school. Same old same old. My responsibilities aren't too stressful this semester (thus far most of the guys are being pretty well behaved, knock on wood). Our President is stepping down in January, though. So, that makes for an interesting situation. The Board of Regents is shopping a guy in Florida with like 20 years of college leadership experience.
That's about it. Everything else is fine. Life, love and the pursuit of happiness and all that jazz.
