Anyone who's curious about what's going on with Pete Townshend really should read his article, A Different Bomb.
He wrote it himself over a year ago and posted it on his website sometime last year. The link to it has since been removed, although it is still there on his domain in PDF format.
The article really goes quite a long way to explain what Pete has been up to, and corroborates what he has been telling the press: that he is horrified by child pornography, and outraged at how easy it is to find it on the internet.
The fact that his article was written a year ago shows that his "research" defense was NOT cooked up after the fact in an effort to exonerate himself. He's been on about this for years, but people have paid little attention to him until now. So check it out, seriously.

what years did you frequent downtown grounds... it seemed a huge space for my development in my early high school years, but i can not figure out who david rice is in my memory.
and i am only about 2 years removed from houston for the big city -- and was still a show whore until i had to be in bed early for the kids...
