Had some fun at rehearsal tonight, working up a cover of "A Boy Named Sue" for a Johnny Cash tribute album we've been asked to contribute to. Our version starts out sounding kind of normal but then gets really heavy a few verses in, totally different from how we've been doing it on stage all these years. We're hoping to record the basic tracks live and then do some overdubs later. A little bit of recording practice ahead of our own album project which should be underway sometime this summer, if all goes as planned… yarharrharr.
