So, Zinth found me here on SG, we met up, been having a great time together. We went to an SGLA event last night and met quite a few people and had lots of fun! It was really nice to actually get out and meet people, and I can't wait for more events!

James, the guy who's renting me the room and offering me a partnership in his picture framing business, is "quitting" drinking, and he has some pieces of art that David Grohl wishes to have framed, I really want to get them done, learn the business, but so far the last three days we were supposed to get together so that I can learn and he can get those pieces done and not lose the job, he keeps putting it off. And as of yet, he hasn't called me to tell me so; I've been sitting around waiting and then eventually calling. I called yesterday: "Tomorrow we will get them done and deliver them, You'll meet a contact." He says. Today I call, his wife tells me "he needs one more day before he can train you". I've been searching the net, I've found a few good sites on picture framing, and there is a 4 day class on the business, but it's damn near a grand. I have learned some good info, but not nearly enough to just start putting shit together properly, and especially not when it comes to preserving work, too.

Luckily, there is a nice cafe across the street that soon should have it's beer and wine license, and when that happens I hopefully should have a job with some money coming in, since right now I'm in limbo pretty much relying on savings and the cash I get from James to live on.

As much as life has really sucked two weeks ago, life is really trying to look up, and it's doing a decent job. I have good feelings on a few different aspects, and I'm getting to the point where I'm realizing that the love was worth the loss, as much as it hurt.
