So, I found duke at the pound. He showed up there an hour after I first checked there, someone found him 20 miles from where I lost him! That's on the next mountain over! insane, but I'm so glad to have my doggie back! just sucks that he picked up kennel cough while there

So glad you found him!! How awesome that someone found him and brought him in. Maybe people's attitudes toward them are changing. I foster pits, too, well, sort of.. I started out fostering, but mahina, the foster, fits in so well I think we're going to have to make it permanent. You should tell them you specifically want to foster pits, they always have a hard time finding good families for them. You meet some awesome animal people through the rescues, too. My dogs are definitely my family, and I can't even imagine how stressed you were when he was gone. Glad he was okay, too... a mountain away... they're pretty amazing dogs. Not suprised you got duke through divine intervention, they choose us more than we choose them. Keep on that kennel couch and glad he's home safe and sound!
