"if you could go back in time and change something about your past what would it be?"
Well that's a really interesting question... At first thought a lot of things came to mind... Past relationships, dropping out of high school, lost friends/family, going through depression and anorexia, even going to jail (for something totally ridiculous). I mean how do I pick just one thing? So many tears and struggles that I wish I could go back and avoid or change...
But then another thought occurred... If i changed any of those things I might not be the strong, independent, and confident woman that I am today. I mean all the struggles and hard times create us and mold us right? They shape us into who we will become in this world. Either we rise up, grow and learn from it. Or we crumble under the weight of the hard ship and we become weak and brittle.
After all life isn't about things going right or being easy. Its about taking what you are given and making it into something worth being proud of.
So maybe I didn't quite answer the homework the way you expected. But truthfully I wouldn't change a thing about my life. Because my life created me. And I am pretty damn happy with who I became.
