Second weekend at Wrightsville Beach:

Holy fuck jellyfish stings hurt like a motherfucker. I was happily playing around in the surf when out of nowhere my arm starts to burn like fire and electricity at once. It was sick. I was with a group of guys, so after screaming like a girl for two or three minutes, I tried to play it off and kept swimming around. The fucking jellyfish raised welts on my arm and when I got out of the water I kept asking all the surfer dudes who were there what the fuck I should do. They all told me to pee on it. They guys I was with all seemed to buy this remidy immediately. In fact, they all offered to pee on me just to help me out. I was a little sceptical so I kept asking people. One kind lady at the beach gave me some meat tenderizer to put on it. It felt better to put something on it, but after a half an hour my arm was still throbbing and sore. When I had finally had enough I went back to my hotel room, peed in a cup, and then poured it on my arm. The warmth felt good. An hour later the welts started to go down and the pain lessened as the day went on. Today my arm is still a little sore and there are some red marks, but no swelling. I never even saw the jellyfish.
