Speeding tickets suck ass.
I'm driving along at a modest 80mph (in a 55 zone) after just having finished my laundry at the post laundry mat, when I round a corner of the freeway and stare directly at a local cop and his radar. I look at him looking at me as I break, and as I pass him I wonder, "is he gonna pull out?" Sure enough he does, so I pull right over, turn off the motor, and put my hands on the steering wheel like the good citizen that I honestly and for truely am, but that doesn't stop him from writing this California boy a 76mph ticket that includes a mandatory court date. Hey! I'm a big boy and ticket schmicket I got plenty 'o money. It's the fact that I gotta ask my supervisor for a day off now that bugs me.
I hope every one else's weekend went better.
