SGNC ZOO TRIP

I'll start by saying how unbelievabley cool the SG world is. Should any one ever fuck up this vibe I wish a pox upon their genitals.

The North Carolina Zoo is definately worth the trip. It's the only zoological park I've ever been to that has bats and I was in fucking awe. The rest of the exhibits were modern and clean...

I'm getting short

OK, you're right, I'm not that tall to begin with, but I mean here in NC. I'm short.

I got three weeks left and I'm outa here.

It's funny, I've met and talked with the NC SGer's, but I don't know any of the Sac SG crowd.

Let's see...did anything cool happen to me today? -No

Did anything fun happen to me...

OK, if my dreams were to be put in movie catagories they would almost always be sci-fi/horror/action.

It surprised me then this morning when I woke up after dreaming that I was

THE PRESIDENT OF A SORRORITY

That's right, all night long (what I remember of it anyway) I was surrounded by nubile young college women who invited me to parties, told me their deepest...

YESTERDAY

Inspections by JACHO and OSHA and other assorted commissions make my head spin and my stomach sour. When I am in the midst of them I often ponder what it would be like to be bent over a barrel and fucked hard. It seems more appealing.

I went to one of my fellow soldier's birthday get together at a place called the Mash House....

Cool, a pen pal that lives in my hometown!
Plus, I was looking at your fav bands and it's scarrey...I might as well be looking at MY fav bands list. Funny thing is...I didn't list all of those, but should have. Except for Elvis. tongue I saw B.B. live in Hungary in 1996.
I LOVE Galaga and Mrs. Pacman!!! Enough said...
The movie couldn't have been all that bad, it had you sleeping with the night light on!! hehe biggrin
I've also been known to leave a pair of shorts on"just in case"...
Sounds like you had one of my nights.
Strange how you can read about another person's evening and likes/dislikes, and it seems like you are reading about yourself!
Writing to you will be fun! smile

Damn brother, you're lucky you didn't die what with all the crap you shoveled in.

Haha...Dawn of the Dead scared the living shit out of my lil' bro. He's been paranoid ever since and he keeps seeing zombies everytime he gets drunk which unfortunately for him is often.

Take it lite.

Peace.

Alright, purchases for the weekend include:

"One Drunken Night," by Paddy Gibbny and Bill Ayerby. Lecherous and lewd Irish diddies and covers make me laugh.

The Speed Racer real rubber sleeve DVD. It has the words to the theme song in it, which should actually be sung: Go Speed Racer! Go Speed Racer! Go Speed Racer, Jooooooooooooe. That to go along with Primus' "Joey was...

I bought the Phantom of the Opera sountrack day before yesterday. I saw the show on Broadway back in January.

I'm a sucker for the Beauty and the Beast story-it strikes me that's what Phantom is. There are too many days when my demons get the better of me and I feel ugly, weak, and worthless. I grew up thinking that I was strange and...

I was in DC over the weekend to check out the cherry blossums.

They were beautiful.

I also walked over to the Jefferson memorial. The words around his statue speak about tyranny over the mind, rejecting compulsory church attendance, and the need for governments to change as knowlege grows.

Standing there I kept thinking about the war in Iraq and about how seemingly we are...

DC is beautiful this time of year...and there's no better place to feel closer to the government as a civilian that in DC. The Lincoln Memorial always did that for me. Overwhelming sense of pride and home. Arlington is also a vivid reminder of what sacrifices have been made. I agree, it seems like an endless battle, man vs. monster when dealing with all of the turmoil overseas, but as the opinionated Americans that we are, one movement should bring us all together, and that's supporting those who are serving over there. It's when THAT loyalty falters that we can hang our heads in shame. Sorry, I'm using your journal as a soap box. I'll humbly step down and be on my way...

Ill take that as a compliment, thanks babe!

I went to get my ID card updated today and after two hours of waiting the NCOIC comes out and says "Alright, the system is shutting down at 1600. Any one who has lost, or who doesn't have an ID card can stay. Any one who is updating or changing information on an existing card will have to go."

Great. I now have to return...

but i guess they told me when they screamed we are kids weve been on the train for two hours, we need to scream.
joshof13thfloor:
Hey Joe, what up brother?

It's really kosher of you to be so understanding of the little ones, all to often people are to judgemental where kids and their behavior are concerned. The little peoples are just wired differently than we are, one must practice patience.

Hope life is treating you well.

Peace.

Shitty

We had to work today, but it's 1405 now and I'm off for a few hours of paint ball madness.

I've been playing Morrowind like a fiend.

I wonder if I'll ever fall in love again.

Sometimes, I wonder if I even want to.

chanded your mind about what? confused
joshof13thfloor:
You are correct sir, people are indeed some odd fuckers.

But that being said i seem to like the oddest ones the best.

How's your grandmother doing, bro? Good i hope.

Take it easy, man.

One of the drawbacks to a computerized journal is portability.

I went to Olive Garden tonight and had the three meat ravioli. I have a PT test tommorrow and thought I would carbo-load up on pasta. Anyway, I had ample time while I was there to sit and think, but not only didn't I have a computer, I didn't even have pen and paper.

What...

Eh, no big deal. Myself, I'm one of the attached USAF guys. Right about now, I'm just hoping I don't get deployed again until I have a couple of months to appreciate American society again. Korea was fun, but very different.

Random musings:

I used to think that at 31 I've been grown up for a long time. I now think that I'm more of a child than I ever have been. Women will do that to a brotha

My freedom is a HUGE thing to give up. Women should understand that. Just so all you peeps know, it was a woman who pointed that out...
