First day on SG and my first blog ever. Kinda exciting but not. Does any one really care what I have to write about any way. Blogs have become a beloved and stylish means for people to build their social network. I figured it was time I embarked on my own adventure into online social networking. Sounds corny? Doesn't it, I think so. What the hell!
Today was a rather uneventful day. Woke up, ate chow and did some administrative work. I also just decided that after a week it is time to take a shower. Alittle backstory is required for that one. If you saw my occupation you could assume why I have gone so long with out a good scub down. I am in Afghanistan at the moment and it is COLD. That and the showers are a descent walk from my current living quarters. Not a good combination when you add water. But my own stench has convinced me to brave the frigid temperatures and clean myself. One advantage of such periods of time inbetween showers is that they are so much more refreshing. I feel like a new person after a nice hot (if there is hot water) shower and a change of uniform.

Hahaha weird how everyone pictures Afganistan as scorching hot but it has to have winter some time!
