Friday, we farted around in the Mission (where the above photo was taken) and got amazingly delicious burritos:

We met up with a friend from home at Zeitgeist for Happy Hour, and ended up running into one of
El_Scootro's brother's good friends who also lives in SF now. Crazy, right!?

That's the view from hotel #1.
Friday night, we went to Mike Giant's
art show with Scooter's friend Elliot, who is yet another Pittsburgh transplant. I swear, like half of Pittsburgh has moved to SF. Some guy came up to me while I was waiting in line at H&M and asked me where I got my hair cut. I told him I was from Pittsburgh and it turned out he was from a suburb of Pittsburgh that's like 10 minutes from where I grew up, and had just moved to SF a couple months ago. Crazy! Anyway, this is the view from Elliot's roof:

Pretty incredible. And this is us on said roof, although the setting on the camera sucked and you can't really see the awesome view:

Elliot took us to some bar in Chinatown that used to be an opium den, but by that point we had been awake for 24 hours and sleepiness was inevitable, so we had to bounce. We got up early the next day, and drove out to the redwood forest, where I found a baby Sasquatch lurking in the woods:

Then that Sasquatch led me on a "stroll" up some "ocean view" trail that turned out to be a treacherous uphill hike, and of course I was dressed absolutely appropriately for the occasion:

Then I danced with some bears:

and we left to go check out Haight St. Obligatory Golden Gate Bridge pic:

We ended the night, by checking out Scooter's friend who we ran into at Zeitgeist's band, Awesome Party, at Benders. I saw this on the walk home and it made me happy:

Sunday, we checked in to the ultra chic
Hotel Vertigo:

Part of the classic Hitchcock movie was filmed there, and the whole hotel is themed accordingly.

The ever so awesome
Bob and her camera came to visit, and we may or may not have have whipped up a little tribute to the "Hitchcock Blondes" that you will be seeing sometime in the nearish future:

We spent the last night in bathrobes, watching Discovery channel and drinking $6 champagne in our room at Vertigo:
The VIP tickets for Lollapalooza include alcoholic drinks and food in the lounge areas. And I heard some of the food is being prepared by some of the best chefs in Chicago.
