Today was a good day. Actually, my whole weekend was pretty good.
My parents are away (again!) This time they're going on a Mediterranean cruise for their 30th wedding anniversary. They left a few days early though, so they could go to the town in Italy where my great grandfather was from:
Not sure why you'd want to leave that for Pittsburgh! Anyway, I'm watching the house/cats for my parents. It's not quite a Mediterranean vacation but it's nice to escape to a magical place with AC and cable on the big plasma screen tv. Panda_Eyes and I went out there and drank the crows toes and watched Shark Week in HD and another favorite--Sex in the Ancient World--and it ruuuuuled. Speaking of Shark Week, what's up with everyone suddenly being all obsessed with it and the abundance of Shark Week tattoos? Biters! (haha)
Today I went to the wave pool with a bearman, a man with a bleached, dreded skullet, and a big gay Spaniard.
It was crazy amounts of fun. Then I got to poke at the world's cutest baby:
She makes my cold, jaded heart melt into a little puddle!
