Shit is intense right now. My boobear is going through some really hard family stuff, so you should pray to your non-denominational deities that everything ends up okay. I hate to see him so upset.

Yesterday one of our cats chased a chipmunk into the house, unbeknownst to my mom, who is absolutely terrified of rodents. Apparently it dove into a duct in the floor somehow to escape, but couldn't figure out how to get out. She texted me "There's a critter in the vent! Ahhhh!"
Me: What is it?
Mom: Python? Dinosaur-- Cera maybe? [sidenote: Cera as in from The Land Before Time. I had a doll of her when I was little that I was absolutely obsessed with.]
Me: Cera is so nice and cute. No reason to be scared.
Mom: I'm in the sink.

And I know she literally was in the kitchen sink because I've seen it happen before. Last time this happened I had to drive all the way home and chase the chipmunk out of the house with a broom while she sat in the sink screaming. I guess this time she stuck something in the vent as a ladder for the little dude, and eventually it climbed out. What a weirdo.

I really don't want to go to work today. WAAAAAAH.
