the intensity rises and wanes

Enter the fury, flash and gone
pleading the night, succumb
cry out in desperation, stop

the second slashes eternity
sticky warmth washes over
crimson knowledge.

Sharp inhilation, pain then
manic dreams lift and subside
first light and nothings the same.
