Thanksgiving was as well as could be expected. My mother attempted to lure me over early with mamosas. Unfortunatly I was extremely hungover from a night of much red wine with nicolas. we had a great time, but I payed for it, yes I did.

It didn't help that my mothers kitchen is tiny and she kept wanting to 'help', I get as cranky when someone is in my space cooking as when painting or any other creating... then my ex calls my mother and that ends up pushing some buttons that I won't go into... Family and holidays: button pushing fun... right?

But all in all, dinner was great. All vegetarian; my mother wouldn't eat the NoTurkey though. She just got that scrunchy nose thing. We told her there wouldn't be pie until she finished it. (payback ) My brother was looking better. it's been a couple of weeks since he went down on his motorcycle.

My headache had finally disapated from the renewed intoxication of spiked soy nog. We all ended up passing out in bloated pain while watching movies. Like thanksgiving aught to be.
