the weather in puddletown has turned dour and grey. so I spent the day in the studio doing still life portraits of rotten and decaying vegetables in very chiaroscuro lighting. pushing them almost to a painting like state.





Boy, I really know how to cheer me up! no... seriously, not very modern or hip, but personally, it made me happy to make. It's all about the process.

I am excited about the Polish festival this weekend. My brother and I always go to get our Pierogi (Dumplings stuffed with a mix of potatoes, farmers cheese, onions, spices) and Placki Ziemniaczane (Potato pancakes of fried shredded potatoes) fix! mmmmm...so fucking delicious! Always makes for great people watching as well.
