I was suppose to leave seattle last night... this is the third day for this high end video compositing session here. We ended up going till midnight last night and realizing that we would not be able to finish and had to get a hotel for another night. The saving grace is that the Flame artist that we brought in from LA is amazing and totally gets the concept for the spot. there is allot that we have to fix because of lack of attention from the director, problems with the material the offline editor supplied and missed hits from the animator. At $600 a session hour it is getting very aggravating... especially since we are going into $900 an hour overtime on our third day. We were suppose to present the finished spot today and had to reschedule for monday (we were suppose to have monday off). I am trying to find that zen spot in my exhaustion...I still have a 3 hour drive home after this.
