31 Days left until I ship out to basic training.

I was doing well for awhile, but it's starting to become more and more real everyday. I guess for awhile it was just this abstract thing that I knew was going to be happening some time in the future, but now it's really starting to creep up on me.

I got my ship date back in September, and back then it seemed like it would never get here. Now here I am not more than a month away and it really is just a little nerve wracking. Don't get me wrong, I'm really excited to get going and get on with my future and possible career with the Army, but at the same time this is going to be a complete culture shock and a real emotional roller coaster.

I know that it's going to suck while I'm there, and it will definitely be one of the harder things I'll do in my life, if not one of the hardest. It will be a good test of my physical, mental, and emotional self as well as something that will prepare me to be a better version of me than before.

Yeah...kinda rambling but it's really hard to truly describe.
