Couldn't get online to post this yesterday, but it's more than made up for with these clips from a short film by Don Letts in '81 when Clash came to NYC.
Don Letts was the rasta DJ/Filmmaker at whose london flat much of the early London punk scene hung out...Sixousie, Chrissie Hynde, Joe Strummer, Sid Vicious, etc.
Make sure to check out the group of barely teen b-boys dropping some early 'gangster' street rhymes in the second half of the flick.
