monkeypox

last friday was awsome - sorry ive not gotten the chance to write till just now! we played at the sunset tavern in lovely ballard here in seattle and it was so much fun i almost split my face on the pavement. first of all ive got to give props to party time from portland. three guitars and all rock! these guys kick the proverbial ass! its too bad that i couldnt really hear the vocals too well from where i was standing. the place was packed (sold out) and everyone was haveing a ruckas good time. of course broadcast oblivion were great. for those of you who havnt checked out this band, its a super group consisteng of members from the murder city devils, scared of chaka, and the droo church - only better! i cant say enough good things about these guys, go see em now when you get the chance cuz they are gonna be huge. visqueen had a an ace up their sleeve though and tore down the house with thier cover of def lepords photograph. ok so enough about the show. lets talk drunken shananagins. friday was the day befor the celebration of the annaversary of ben's birthday tube shoot thirty years prior. so we were getting stoopid. its kinda a blur but here are some of the highlights. ben jumped into a large green recycling bin and rachel and i pushed it down balard ave. dave jumped onto my shoulders and we were haveing chicken fights with rachel and coady. after defeating any and all who dared to confront us dave and i did a face plant onto the cement sidewalk, narrowly missing a plate glass strorefront on the way down. i vaguely remember some sort of spank fest happening while i carried first ben then rachel over my shoulder. coady is no doubt the lifting champion however as he once again hoisted ben into his arms and carried the birthday boy baby style. dont mess with coady cuz he can flick you in the chest and you wont die till a month later! there was vast amounts of after hours drinking in undisclosed locations and the last thing i remember is at about 5am dave still playing guitar wondering why everybody was being such party poopers.
