ive been back at "home" for alittle over a week now and i feel like its been long enough. ive actually been pretty lucky so far on the work front. filling in at two bars, one peep show, and helping out once and a while as day labor at a concstruction site has managed to get my rent paid. and just in time. its just alittle frustrating that im in a constant scramble to find work, cuz i dont have any kind of set schedule. being on call and waiting for people to get sick is no kind of stability.

my new apartment and roommate are fucking awsome. i guess the apt itself isnt all that special, but it has a much more comfortable "home" type atmosphere and it doesnt reek of cat piss. ive been in and out of "punk" houses my whole life and i think im ready to close the book on that chapter. now when i come home and unlock the front door to walk in, it actually smells good. dont ask me what it is, cuz neither one of us are total neat freaks. i think the difference is were not actual slobs eaither.
