i got my first bit of hate mail that actually mentioned me by name. it seems someone sent an email to the bands manager saying that i should be killed. at first i was worried untill i actually read the complaints and saw that the info was inaccurate. still its alittle unnerving to be the scapegoat for someone else's bad time. popular opinion can be powerful even if its misguided.

I've never had hate mail. But I have had my mass eMails on from my yahoo account answered in very vicious ways when I piss someone off with being...well...me. I stopped being friends with one high school chum because of how completely he destroyed me. And all over something, which in the end, didn't mean anything at all. Basically I made some very careless comments connecting Nostradamus with 9/11 and later on I felt stupid for loosing grip and giving in to the hysteria.

hate mail is usually really entertaining. especially when the grammar and spelling are really bad! but i can understand how that could be a little scary.

what is the name of your band again? i'd like to see you guys sometime. but i'm super honest, so if you suck, i'll say so. biggrin
