i swear im drowning sometimes.
tough lesson to chew but it is true. I work at it.
I just got tired of feeling sorry for myself. I got tired of taking other people's shit. I got tired of taking rejection personally. I had it up to 'here'.
SO I got happy to get back at all of it.
Of course it helps when life is going so well.

It's not all hard work as it sounds. In a way, I am actively getting back at the things I cannot control. It's my way of not feeling powerless.

The greatest help to me was one I thought would have the least effect: Affirmations.
I have a little 'Blessing of Self-Worth' I got from Pyewacket printed out and on the wall next to my bed. Every night before I close my eyes for beddie-bye I read to myself in a clear, strong voice....like I really mean it.
Sure enough...I feel a strength within I never felt before. I feel like I can kick ass on a mental and emotional plane.
Feels good.
