here's the groovy frogsimmons dilemma of the day:
today was supposed to be my last day at the old job. since i have a 100 degree fever and am spitting up my lungs, i've spent the day on the sofa watching ferris bueller's day off, the evil dead, can't hardly wait, harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban, and amityville horror 3-D.
i'm supposed to start my new job on monday. this is the one i can bike to but doesn't really pay much. i'm supposed to start at 10 am.
the great, newer job called me today. they like my resume' and want me to interview on monday at 11 am.
so, i had to contact the first job and tell them. they were cool about it but don't want to bother training me if i do get the better job. so they don't want me to come in monday but want me to call after the interview to tell them what i think my chances are at the newer job.
so i could be wrong about my chances at the newer job, and get neither.
who says life isn't hard? ha ha ha.
anyway, that's me for the weekend.
in other news, i have two cold sores on my tongue. both on the tip, one on each side. and i really liked the hypogryff scenes in HP&TPOA. and gary oldman was great as usual. but the werewolf was pretty weak. it's amazing that a little movie called an american werewolf in london, made in 1981, still holds the bar as far as werewolf transformation scenes are concerned. and the howling, also from 1981, has the most convincing werewolf makeups. cgi just doesn't do werewolves right.
