this morning i finally did something i've been talking about doing for a few months. i woke up at 6 am (no alarm clock needed; thank you internal mechanisms), had some oatmeal, and drove up to runyon canyon by 7 am. i then proceeded to get some much needed exercise.

i saw the decemberists last night at the henry fonda theatre. what a great crowd, and what a really great show. i had never seen this band before, and in fact am only just now really getting into them. their new album, picaresque, is pretty wonderful. check it out.

Stars were good. Feist was the first opening band and you can't beat that. They're all playing again tonight at the Troubadour. it was sold out last night though.
