Ok one last Ride comment. I was into them at totally the right time-15 years fold or something like that- and we used to cover 3/4 of their songs in the band i was in. You HAVE to check out the first album Nowhere. Its not as bright and breezy as GBA but its a better album. Yes thats right- its better. I'll repeat it again- its better.
Its more wall of noise instrumentation and spaced out vocals but its great. I remember when Going Blank Again came out over here there was a slight disappointment that they had gone more melodic and closer to a standard indie sound. Dont get me wrong though- its still a great album- Mousetrap is a great song isnt it?
