came out in 1957 and, aside from the fact that it's a little talky, it's still pretty neat and some of the ideas and effects are really ahead of their time. check it out if you haven't seen it. and if you've ever wondered where the sample from the beginning of "hounds of love" by kate bush comes from, you'll be pleasantly surprised..."it's in the trees! it's coming!"
on several people's advice, i'm going to see garden state this weekend. anybody seen it that has opinions?
