Ok, so it's been a bit over a month since I left my home and birthplace of the Northwest. I miss a lot of my seattle crew and being able to walk to my favorite watering hole on the planet. I've made a couple observations here, and though some things are a bit backwards, I work with a bunch of good people (got to love the game industry) and it's definately made the transition easier.

Quick observations:
- People here don't know how to fucking drive.
- As a result of that and construction traffic sucks goat balls.
- My sunglasses fog over every time I go outside.
- Rent is cheap (compared to Seattle).
- The locals frighten easy.
- Need more "Church of Booze" and less "Church of Christ".
- The bar-b-que is good.
- The divide between rich and poor is bigger than a baby's arm.
- Did I mention they don't know how to drive... ahh I did. Well let me just say it again. They don't know how to drive.

Now I'm just searching for where I want to live. I'll probably rent an apartment for the first year then buy a house. Right now I'm looking at some apartments in Cary because it's close to work but I really like Chapel Hill so far. Need to do some more exploring.

In the mean time this shit cracked me up, just do a google search for "moshzilla" here's the original and my favorite:

The original (check out the looks on the people behind her ... hehehe classic):
The source image.

This one is great:
Not my car with my family!!

You can find more of them here.

True... Funny... but true. You should move closer to Raleigh than Cary. Not driving far is a blessing though.
