This is my first blog thing. I'm not really sure what to say or who would even want to read this. Let me tell you a little about myself, I guess...
My name is Monk. I am 27 years old, have several tattoos and a severe case of ADHD. About 3 months ago, the 6 year relationship I was in failed. She took our 2 kids(5 yr old girl, 2 yr old boy) back to Texas and I'm struck here in the bloody fucking Tar Pits aka Topeka, Kansas. (No Oz jokes, please.)
I'm really into Punk Rock, especially 80's hardcore, but I'm also into old country like Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson and Hank Williams. I like old jazz records like Louie Armstrong and Duke Ellington. I like some of the newer "alternative" music but I don't really understand all the different categories. I even listen to some metal and have a not so secret love of 80's music like the Talking Heads and shit like that. I'm even into Hair Metal like Ratt and Skid Row.
