Every year we wait for this date at home, to commemorate our deceased, the people we loved so much in life and that this day come back to share with us the food they enjoyed so much, a cigar or even a good tequila. At home this day is full of emotions, anecdotes that end in laughter for all the good times we spend with our loved ones, every year we wait for November 2 to join us at the table, to feel the warmth of knowing that wherever they are, they are well and that they take care of us and accompany us.
This day is very special for me, my mother and grandmother taught me to always enjoy life, respect death and live our traditions. I can't find a better date to share with you my love for my traditions, preparing the altar of the dead, my catrina makeup and spending the day with my family is how we celebrate this day year after year... until the time comes when the ofrenda is for me and the photo on the altar is mine.

Celebración de día de muertos
Cada año esperamos esta fecha en casa, para poder conmemorar a nuestros difuntos, las personas que tanto amamos en vida y que este día vuelven para compartir con nosotros la comida que tanto disfrutaban , un cigarro o incluso un buen tequila. En casa este día está lleno de emociones, anécdotas que terminan en risas por todos los buenos momentos que pasamos con nuestros seres queridos, cada año esperamos el 2 de noviembre para que nos acompañen a la mesa, sentir ese apapacho de saber que estén en donde estén se encuentran bien y que nos cuidan y acompañan.
Este día es muy especial para mi, mi madre y mi abuela me enseñaron a siempre disfrutar la vida, respetar la muerte y vivir nuestras tradiciones. No encuentro mejor fecha para compartirles mi amor por mis tradiciones, preparar el altar de muertos, mi maquillaje de catrina y pasar el día en familia es como celebramos esta fecha año tras año.. hasta que llegue el momento en que la ofrenda sea para mi y la foto en el altar sea la mía.
