People have been buggin me with requests for an update with words in it instead of just my random one offs.

Here we go.

I'm doing well - getting busier as the summer trails off - which usually means pretty good things are afoot.

Been writing on the screenplay a lot lately - for those of you who dont know: About a month or so ago I worked on a film entitled Dead Animals which will be distributed on Lion's Gate - I was both a character and the director of photography for the film. Good times.

Long story short, the guys who wrote it and I became buddy buddy by the end of the shoot. I was talking one night about an idea I had for a film and one of the producers said "yeah, thats a lot better than some of the crap we get pitched by tenured writers... you need to write that" which was awesome to hear. Not only that, but I got to sign paperwork allowing me access to all the gear/equipment I need to shoot said film when I'm done writing - which is pretty much like having a $30,000 investment.

ALSO - the guys from Lion's Gate said that they "would more than likely distribute something of that kind as long as the film is shot well and etc." Which I will make sure happens.

Asides from that - professionally - a creative house near my home wants me to head up their interactive department for a while, which will be fun... sans the whole 9-5 thing again (which I have been out of for two + years)... but the $ is good and it will allow me to do pretty much whatever I want creatively... we are in negotiations right now.

That's pretty much whats going on in my world folks... nothing overly exciting.

Anyone have any super cool plans for the weekend? I'm probably just going to play video games and write... might take in a comedy sportz game tonight...
