Thanks for the birthday well wishings all - rather uneventful bday in direct comparison to some birthdays from the past...

I actually slept for 9 WHOLE HOURS last night... which, for those of you that know me, is quite the fucking feat - it means that I should be able to remain awake until the 15th now with little to no problem *grins

ever miss feeling alive?
let me explain that
a song comes on - something that reminds you of being young, having vigor - having dreams
and you look around you, realizing that you have none of those three things anymore
that youre someone different now - for better or worse, here you are
and, it makes me wonder, which was being alive?
the dreamer doing little but thinking alot
or the actor - thinking only a bit but doing oh so much
i think about this a lot lately
about what has become of me, and my dreams
maybe they just changed
maybe they are the same - but Ive just left them behind
nontheless - odd thoughts
