ooooh I feel good. It's about 4:30pm and I just got out of bed about 20 minutes ago! It was awesome.
It's been a long time since I've had the pleasure of lying in bed all day long.
So I'm lying there and thinking...this bed deserves a shout-out!
Ode to my bed:
I just wanna give a shout-out to my lovely black cherry colored sheets. You're so beautiful to me. So dark and inviting. You never let me down The way you wrap around my body is amazing....and you deserve love for it!
I wanna give a shout-out to my pillows...all 7 of them. Even though not all of you play a role in my slumber...you're all lovely to me....in your own special way. The 3 pillows that actually touch my head (you know who you are), thank you. Thank you for your plush lovin'. Thank you for letting me sleep under you, on top of you, and on the side.
I wanna give a shout-out to my comforter. Even though you're a little warm for the summer time...it's ok...I still love you. But not in the way that you think. I'm not a fan of your appearance, which is why I'm currently in the market for a new one. But still, even though I may not appreciate you as much on the outside, it's the inside that counts...you still keep me warm.
Finally, a shout out to my Mattress. You're so thick. The way you hold my body on your soft surface is a unique experience. I've slept on other beds. I've been within their realm...and they just can't compare. This is why I always come back to you. Even though we may have our rough times, and I find myself gossiping to others about our disagreements with comfort. You always make it up to me.

hey - my grandparents are weird. they bring a jar of sanka with them wherever they go. fortunately i have slightly higher-brow tastes. (i.e. - i think denny's coffee is pretty good) and i brew WMSE coffee at home.
